Alright fine, this is just me posting some of my favorite V10s. Starting out with the viper.
The best V10s don't have a 90 degree bank.
I was thinking maybe I shouldn't include racecars, but then I decided that they have some of the best V10s.
How about some Group C sexiness?
I may not like the V10 Lambos, but there is no denying they sound amazing.
How can you forget the LFA? Also this DTRockstar guy has some awesome videos
My favorite M5. Why? Because, dat sound

I am sure there are more V10s. . . but this should give you enough ruined pants. Also skip to 1:20 in the next video, if it doesn't take you there.

I hate the upshifts, they sound too much like a video game, still sexy.

I think the downshifts are a redeeming quality. I get the fizzies.

God America sucks. I hope Japan invades us.

I'm going with the Viper as my favorite of those. I love the deep growl they make. While I love high-revving engines as much as the next Jalop I think the Carrera GT, LFA, etc. sound too tinny. Needs moar grunt.

I'd have to go with the Toyota. I would say the R15 but its sounds don't match its looks. Friggin diesels.

They sure know how to make an engine. Particularly Honda, but then again they were an engine manufacturer first then a car company.

As much as I love BMWs, I'm going to have to go with the Porsche.

Sometimes diesels can sound amazing.
Strange how a group of friends can make a diesel sound good, but a big company can't be bothered. Espessially on a race car. 90% of the fun of a race is listening to the cars.

I kind of agree. I feel as though engines need to have an equal balance of bellow and scream(these are scientific terms here). V12s fill that gap nicely imo.

Yeah, if you could get the Viper's low grumble with the high rpm "snap" of the higher-revving cars it would be perfect.

Still maintain that AWE straight-pipe fitted CGT is the best sounding supercar available. Just my taste. Stock, of course, the CGT still sounds unbelievable, but I just can't get over how silly it sounds with straight pipes, it's boner-inducing.

I have to agree. Although nothing sounds like an F1 V10.

DCTs ruins upshifts. Not enough pause, so you don't get that sense of excitement before they start bellowing again.

Great transmission, just lack a bit of punch and excitement, atleast they aren't CVTs. . . then everything would sound like a washing machine.

What I hate about this video is the fake backfire.

I'm going to contribute two things.
1) The BMW S85, because obvious answer is obvious. (As seen above)
And for my second act...
The Ford Modular V10. 6.8L of pure American awesomeness. Honestly, I need to put one of these into a Crown Victoria.

I was wondering if the V10 from the M5/M6 was going to be mentioned. It's also probably the most reliable V10 listed here :D

I have a deep an well embedded love for the sounds of a 1964 SS/A Chrylser State III Max Wedge shooting toward 7500 RPM. But the best sounding engine in the world, for me at least, is the Carrera GT's 5 liter V10.
